Cabier Ocean Lodge, your tropical paradise in Grenada

Experience with all your senses

And the feel of the old Caribbean before mass tourism in comfortable family-run Cabier Ocean Lodge. The natural beauty of the Caribbean is all around you at Cabier. Our Lodge, with its 11 guest rooms plus Two Bays Villa and Studios is set on a picturesque low promontory overlooking the ocean at the end of a quiet rural road.

Uniquely we are surrounded on three sides by the sea. On one side you will find beautiful palm-fringed Cabier beach with its calm clear waters; ideal and safe for swimming and protected by an off-shore reef. On the other side a shallow bay with shallow coral reefs around the promontory, great for snorkelling. From our garden and restaurant, you will enjoy an endless view over the wide expanse of the ocean.

Cabier Ocean Lodge offers both standard and superior rooms; several of the rooms have kitchens for self-catering. There is also a spacious family apartment with kitchen, two bedrooms and large living area. All our rooms have en-suite bathroom and toilet, ceiling fans, and a shaded balcony. Some have air conditioning available.

Just above the lodge, nestling on a gentle hill, and 60 feet above the water, is Two Bays Villa plus its two large Studios, with a large sun terrace and infinity pool overlooking the sea and a separate garden area. Two Bays grounds and pool are for the exclusive use of the guests staying there.

Both Villa and Studios have kitchens fully equipped for self-catering and for those who like to cook. The Villa and Studios have deep shaded verandas with swing seats from which to enjoy the lovely views, and wide opening folding doors removing barriers between inside and outside. Two Bays Villa and studios, each sleep 2 persons and can be connected internally to give a larger unit for 4 or 6 persons. They have high ceilings, large ceiling fans and optional air conditioning for when occasionally Cabier’s constant breeze off the sea is not doing its job.

From all the rooms at Cabier you will enjoy spectacular views of the bay, beach and the sea. Cabier Ocean Lodge is set just above the beach. We welcome everyone from single travellers to families and groups of friends. Every year we host a number of special celebrations for our guests for anything from special anniversaries and birthdays, to marriages and re-dedications of vows. You can choose from the various packages that we offer, to create the memorable holiday that you want.

Finally - time to relax

Our guests are always thrilled by the beauty of nature and the warm Caribbean hospitality of Grenada but often just enjoy carefree relaxation, "limin" as it is called in the spice island. You can clear your mind with calm Caribbean daydreams. Take time for a favourite book, or just let your imagination wander and just do nothing slowly.

The magic of this exotic spice island

You can explore the whole island and get to learn how life works in the Caribbean. The magic of this exotic spice island is always beguiling and fascinating. Pleasant footpaths run through our natural surroundings to the nearby villages of Crochu and La Tante and to several uninhabited sandy beaches and bays quite close by.

We will be very happy to organize day trips for you to the capital St. George's or the other special attractions in our "Spice Island”. Shopping expeditions to the wonderfully scented and colourful markets in the towns are quite unforgettable. Grenada is always in season with lots of local produce on offer from local traders and road side stalls.

A very popular way to become acquainted with the country and its people are guided tours all over the island. Also you will have a great opportunity is to take part in "hashing" (cross-country paper chasing), sailing, fishing, scuba diving and snorkelling. Take a day trip to one of the neighbouring islands. The maritime possibilities are endless and guests from around the world make good use of the opportunities around this beautiful island.

Grenada offers something special for everyone. It is the hidden jewel of the Caribbean.
